love is all there is... | |
10:18 a.m. || 2003-01-10 | She buttoned up her sheepskin coat And stepped into the day, Yesterday. She pondered life, And pricked her finger on the Broken china that littered her steps. Death was at her door And yet her laughter Rang like silver bells Lighting a dark dark conduit. The coat was heavy, thick: A corpse she pulled around her, Yesterday. She wrapped herself And battered her feet on the Lies and limbo that dusted her fences. Life was on a stake at the gate. And yet her bawls Echoed like an endless canyon Inking the light light vista.
The skin she laid to rest; A dead thing fleed into the night, Yesterday. She freed herself And shattered her head on the Feral caprice that draped her fireplace. Between was slinking in through a trapdoor And yet her roars Fell silent as vast emptiness Hiding a hollow hollow crypt.
